Once your exterior is clean, a few simple habits help it stay that way. Trim back plants and branches that keep walls and walkways shaded and damp. Adjust sprinklers so they do not spray the house, especially if you use well water that leaves rust stains. Keep gutters clean and flowing so water does not spill over and streak your walls. And rinse pool decks and lanais from time to time to wash away pollen and leaves before they stain.
If you notice green or black spots coming back in the same places, it is usually a sign that the area stays wet or shaded. We can point out those spots during our visit and suggest ways to reduce regrowth. Many homeowners schedule a wash once a year, often before the busy holiday or snowbird season, so the home looks its best when guests arrive.
Pressure washing also makes it easier to spot problems that dirt can hide, like cracked concrete, loose pavers, peeling paint or soft spots in the fascia. Catching them early can save money later.
